About Us

Honouring Heritage Through Evidence, Care, and Craft

Tansom Heritage was founded on a simple principle: family history deserves to be uncovered with clarity, accuracy, and respect. Whether your story is well‑preserved, fragmented, or buried deep in the archives, my role is to bring structure, evidence, and professional discipline to the search.

I combine hands‑on genealogical research with operational leadership and PRINCE2‑aligned delivery — ensuring every project is well‑planned, well‑documented, and grounded in verifiable sources

Why I Started Tansom Heritage

My journey into genealogy began with my own family’s unanswered questions. For years, we held only fragments of the truth about my grandfather — his origins, his identity, even his name. Born in India, he changed his name later in life, leaving behind a trail of inconsistent, incomplete, and sometimes contradictory records.

Untangling that story required patience, structured methodology, and careful cross‑referencing across countries, spellings, and identities. That experience showed me how easily family history becomes complicated — and how powerful it is when those stories are restored with evidence and clarity.

Tansom Heritage was born from that journey: a commitment to helping others find the answers their families deserve.

What I deliver

I approach genealogy as a structured, evidence‑driven project — not guesswork, not folklore, and never vague storytelling. That means you receive:

  • Clear communication throughout — you always know the plan, the progress, and the findings

  • Documented evidence for every conclusion — fully cited, cross‑referenced, and audit‑ready

  • Structured research milestones — planned, tracked, and delivered with PRINCE2 discipline

  • Transparent progress reporting — no surprises, no ambiguity

  • Professional‑grade outputs — reports designed for clarity, longevity, and future research continuity

  • A commitment to cultural authenticity — especially for Welsh and Anglo‑Indian heritage contexts

Credentials and portfolio

  • PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner — certified through PeopleCert/AXELOS

  • Structured genealogical research experience — specialising in Welsh, Anglo‑Indian, and complex identity cases

  • Ongoing professional development — including specialist webinars (e.g., Ancestry Pro Tools) and continuous skills refinement

  • Initial portfolio — anonymised extracts and sample reports available now; client case studies coming soon

Sample Report & Supporting Documents

Every project includes a professionally structured report supported by clearly referenced appendices. These examples show the format and standard you can expect.

Where Family History Meets  Project Grade Delivery.

How I Work

My approach is grounded in professional project delivery and evidence‑based practice. Every project is guided by four principles:

Evidence‑Driven Research

Every conclusion is backed by documented sources, cross‑referenced records, and clear citations.

Structured Project Delivery

Your research is managed with PRINCE2‑aligned discipline, ensuring clarity, progress, and accountability.

Clear Communication

You’ll always know what I’m doing, why I’m doing it, and what I’ve found — no jargon, no confusion.

Respect for Heritage

Every family story is handled with care, cultural understanding, and a commitment to authenticity.

A Legacy for the Future

This isn’t just a business — it’s a family endeavour.
My goal is to build something my children can one day inherit, rooted in Welsh culture, professional standards, and a genuine love of history. Every project I take on contributes to that legacy.

A Personal Note

Every family has a story worth preserving. I’d be honoured to help you uncover yours.
